The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network was in need of a web application that allowed patients, family members and health care providers the ability to quickly find clinical trials in their area. The web app allows family members and patients to fill out the details surrounding the type of pancreatic cancer they have as well as a radius based on how far they are willing to travel. Once the required information is entered, they are presented with a list of clinical trials in their area and have the ability to save trials they are interested in as well as request that a PanCAN associate contact them for additional support and information. Health care providers are offered the same searching capabilities but with advanced filtering capabilities and trial details that are more pertinent to their professional duties.
