theSpot is a hub for Dell sales people to learn more about the products they sell, view their goals and commissions, track their education progress and sales performance, and compare themselves against their peers. All of this data had previously been managed strictly in SharePoint. Dell wanted to create this site to simplify the data for their sales team and make tracking performance easier for their administrative team. This is a huge project and will be constantly evolving throughout the coming years. The ultimate goal is to take the majority of the data out of SharePoint and into our tool while increasing the sales team's efficiency.
